On January 14th 2022, the Honorable Senator Patty Murray of Bjorn's childhood state of Washington had a flag flown over the US Capitol in recognition to his dedication in filmmaking and the successful ~400 light-year transmission of his documentary "14000 Miles" into deep space.
On January 14th 2022, this flag was flown over the United States Capitol in recognition of Bjorn Stickle and his dedication to filmmaking as well as the "Deep-space premier" of his film "14000 Miles", which is presently on it's ~400 light-year journey to the North Star, informally known as "Polaris."
Recognition by the Architect of the Capitol, J. Brett Blanton, who on January 14th 2022, at the request of Senator Patty Murray, had a flag flown over the US Capitol in recognition of Bjorn's successes in filmmaking.

The well esteemed, and globally recognized satellite Voyager-2, which on Sunday, January 9th 2022, successfully beamed Bjorn Stickle's feature documentary "14000 Miles" on a ~400 light-year journey to the North Star (a/k/a Polaris).
