Unarranged

Wedding Unusual Celebration As Usual

A traditional Punjabi wedding and an untraditional love story. Unarranged follows an immersive, week-long celebration in India, where over 500 guests gather to witness a marriage that challenges cultural norms while embracing centuries old Sikh traditions. Over sixty attendees flew in from nine different countries navigate unfamiliar customs, vibrant rituals, and the breathtaking pace of a true Punjabi wedding.

The film offers a rare, intimate look at the intersection of heritage and modern identity, capturing moments of humor, vulnerability, and deep connection. Legendary musicians appear, spontaneous dances break out, and emotions run high in a kaleidoscope of color and sound. But beneath the festivities lies a quiet tension: What does love look like when tradition and autonomy collide?

Unarranged is not just a documentary about marriage it’s a cinematic celebration of culture, conflict, and connection in a globalized world. Are you ready for the adventure?
